2-3 green tomatoes, sliced 1/2 inch thick
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 (6 fluid ounce) can beer
3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup oil for frying
Start off by mixing the flour, black pepper, red pepper, garlic powder, eggs, and beer in a bowl. The mixture should resemble pancake batter.
Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Lastly, dip tomato slices in the batter to coat, give a little shake-shake to let the excess batter run off, then, fry 'em up in your skillet 5 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
