Using a biscuit cutter, cut a circle out of the middle of a piece of bread. Save that cute little bread circle, he's totally toastable worthy and tasty too.
Heat a little bacon grease, or butter, in your skillet. Not too much, just a dab.
Put your "holey" bread into your heated pan and then crack an egg so that the yolk is in the middle of the hole you made. Get in that dag-um hole you toad! (Hey, don't forget to toast your little circle cut outs).
If you prefer "sunny side up", toast one side of your bread and turn BEFORE adding your egg.
Add your salt and pepper.
Flip over when egg is looking firm enough to handle "the flip", continue to cook until the bread is toasted and the egg is cooked to your liking.
